Established in 2015, Shanghai Zijiang Foundation has been committed to providing resources and support for public welfare development and social innovation. Zijiang foundation focuses on the innovative education of public talents, and has successively launched projects such as "Jiao Tong University’s special fund for social responsible investment", " East China Normal University’s special fund for training of new talent of public charity", etc. Projects aim to establish development education fund which is used to support and promote the development of China's education in the form of practical actions such as student training, teacher building, facility improvement and discipline development. In 2018, it was awarded "Top 20 Chinese corporation socially responsible brands", which affirmed the outstanding performance of the foundation in fulfilling social responsibility and realizing sustainable development of responsible brands.

In the era of digital information, the development of Zijiang foundation also tends to be more transparent and branded.
