By using high-quality protein as a base combined with various nutritional elements, it transforms into new nutritional main dishes with a carbohydrate-like texture. This addresses the issue of excessive carbohydrate content in the Chinese diet, helping people enjoy a balanced and nutritious lifestyle. The uniqueness of the Moodles brand lies in its team's in-depth research in food technology and nutrition. The brand is committed to using technology to provide consumers with scientifically enhanced and innovative food that is both healthy and delicious. Therefore, the key focus in establishing the brand image is to ensure the presentation of delectable food while reinforcing a professional and scientific approach to innovative food concepts.

 

Igniting the vitality and innovation of the brand begins with visuals, yet extends far beyond. What's even more crucial is conveying Moodles' brand essence through visual elements. To assist Moodles in formulating a brand strategy, Pro employed a series of systematic brand-building steps, including internal interviews, market competition analysis, competitor assessments, and workshops. Utilizing professional strategies and visual tools, we defined the brand's tone. Moodles' brand upgrade encompassed both internal and external aspects, spanning from brand positioning to visual strategy. We conducted comprehensive upgrades in brand identity, color scheme, typography, iconography, auxiliary graphics, layout standards, packaging design, and more. We eagerly anticipate that these holistic visual changes will usher in a multitude of possibilities for Moodles.

 

 

 

A Visual Identity Centered on Scientific Nutrition

 

The inspiration behind the overall visual identity stems from the core five essential nutritional elements of a balanced diet. Abstracted into pentagon shapes, this visual representation incorporates scientific and physical indicators. This reinforces Moodles' commitment to harnessing the power of science, crafting a better dietary lifestyle for all. When delving into the nuanced nutritional requirements of individuals for these five elements, it's evident that each subgroup possesses distinct intake needs. Thus, the dynamically shifting irregular pentagon forms aptly embody Moodles' meticulous approach to food science.

Moodles' logo is a recognizable symbol of the brand, composed of both a graphical and textual element. The graphical part features an irregular pentagon outline, symbolizing the core concept of Moodles' five essential nutritional elements. The letter "M" plays a pivotal role in the distinctiveness of the brand, extracted and magnified to represent Moodles' direction as a pioneer in defining a new category. The font selection continues the nutritional composition concept, using geometric blocks to form a completely fresh typographic style.

Distinctive Blue Enhances the Impression of Innovation

 

In the realm of color, differing from the warm color palettes often chosen by traditional food brands, we boldly opt for a modern and youthful blue as the brand's primary color, further solidifying Moodles' image as a trailblazer in the realm of innovative food categories. Addressing Moodles' diverse protein-based product family, we assign each protein variant a unique color identity, resulting in a product range with clear and intuitive differentiation.

Pentagonal Brand Symbol

 

As the core visual element, the pentagonal shape plays a pivotal role as the brand symbol, becoming the most impactful visual centerpiece. Simultaneously, we extend the pentagon's versatility, allowing for a more unified and dynamic visual experience. The application of pentagonal elements falls into two categories — brand and product. When presenting the brand image, the pentagonal element from the logo is utilized; for product packaging/marketing, especially when communicating functionality and target audience, different pentagonal elements corresponding to various formulas can be employed for a more intuitive visual communication.

The current upgrade of Moodles' brand image establishes a systematic brand recognition system, presenting the brand in a more professional, detailed, and standardized manner, enhancing its distinct and three-dimensional personality. The brand's new image will lead Moodles into a broader future. Most importantly, we aim to let more people see Moodles' commitment to the concept of balanced nutrition, bringing the energy of science, health, and nutrition to every consumer.
