Human-centered Blue Ocean Strategy

In the last open lecture in 2019, Working images accepted the invitation of the Xuzhou Electric Power Trade Union to share the "human-centered blue ocean strategy" with major enterprise managers from the Xuzhou Huaihai Economic Development Zone.

New management trends in the smart era

In this era of the internet, when the industry boundaries are more and more blurry, the relationship between management and labor is slowly changing. The logic and management style of the industrial age have gradually become unsuitable for the management of new talents and business organizations.

How to follow the modern trend to create a new growth for the business? Many companies realize that to allow consumers to pay more willingly, you cannot just rely on product features and design. Instead, it should be more focused on the "user experience". So how do you improve the "user experience" to create business value? One of the the answers is "design thinking".

Putting people first is everything

In the era of digital transformation, better understanding and analysis of users has become the core task of every enterprise. At the same time, how to transform the analysis results into innovative products and services is a challenge. "Design thinking" as a complete set of "user-centric" methodologies and toolkits, for companies to create "innovative organizations", dig deep into "consumer value", achieve innovative services and growth breakthroughs, and provide guidelines for practical methods.

We firmly believe in "learning from practice", so the full-day course is filled with intensive practical activites. Participants face the challenge of working in small teams in practical cases, and learn how to use design thinking tools in the process, such as user portraits, consumer experience flowchart, value proposition diagrams, and prototyping. During interactive workshops, the instructor guides the students along and instructs them to apply the acquired methods in their daily work.

Under the teacher’s explanation, I have think from the users’ perspective and also different angles. After the group discussion, I found the reason why I was often stuck in the past. It was definitely a good method. I can’t wait to go back and share it with my colleagues."
